a book is born

i've been up all night...working hard to finish my book...not even the "real" one either...making comics is hard work...there's certain things that if i had done it right the first time i would not have had to do, but live and learn i suppose...this is a most enlightening experience. i have to be artist, writer, editor, publisher, and everything else...bottom line though, i have complete autonomy...and if it sucks, i have no one else to blame...i'm liking it though...it's a sampler of random comics that i've done in the mechanical district world and kindof tells about the main characters and some other fun tidbits...this is good practice for a more "organized" book in the future...this one is 20 pages...i'm going to sleep now...

What am I doing?

A question I ask myself all too often...it seems that the things I want to do most, are the most elusive...This is just my own pessimism getting in the way of progress, but the obstacles sure seem to be stacking up...Isolation is setting in...i just have to be steadfast in my belief that this is really what i want...which means i just have to work that much harder to achieve it...what is it you ask???  My goal is somewhat undefined and intangible, but i do actually have some specifics too...I intentionally keep things loose, so as to keep options open...sometimes too much, but i have so many choices to make...
